Candy Marie French

Candy Marie French, 62, of Decatur, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, in Denton.

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Living Word Teaching Center, 8151 U.S. 287 in Rhome, with the Revs. Jay and Jennifer Peikert officiating. There will be no graveside service.

Candy was born Aug. 19, 1956, in Fort Worth. She was an employee of Minyards Foodstores for more than 20 years and Wells Fargo for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Lee French; mother Mannie Belle French; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Kenneth Roberts; and brothers-in-law Dennis Harrington and Hanley Hunter.

She is survived by her sons, William Wesley Jenkins of Fort Worth and James Jarrod French and wife, Britney French, of Decatur; former stepdaughter Jessica Williams and husband, Brad, of Garland; sisters Ann Hunter of Euless, Martha Hogan of Decatur and Sandra Harrington of Grand Prairie; and four grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Power of Attorney “Britney French” to cover arrangements and final expenses.
