Bernie F. LeFors

Bernie F. LeFors, 91, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, in Tulsa, Okla.

Funeral was Sept. 13 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with Fred Raney officiating. Burial followed at Boyd Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jacob Key, Jeremiah Williams, Alan LeFors and David LeFors.

Bernie was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Boyd to Floyd and Cleo (Richardson) LeFors. He married Hazel Juanita Green Jan. 17, 1948, in Tarrant County. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Following the war, Bernie worked in aircraft production, including 35 years with Lockheed.

In retirement, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America at the council level and earned the Silver Beaver Award. He was also a board member of the American Red Cross.

Bernie was preceded in death by his wife; and his parents.

He is survived by his sons, Alan LeFors of Broken Arrow, Okla., and David LeFors and wife, Carla, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; daughter Gigi Williams and husband, John, of Melbourne, Fla.; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
