4-Hers plan service projects

Wise County 4-Hers are working on two community service projects.

One benefits Wise County first responders, and the other, the Valued Veterans Project, is designed to show appreciation for local veterans.

Community donations are needed to provide specific items for each of these groups this fall.

Monetary donations for first responders are needed by Nov. 2. They can be mailed to Rylee Maggret, c/o Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, 206 South State Street, Suite A, Decatur, TX 76234. For information, call Maggret, 817-235-9989.

Monetary donations for the Valued Veterans Project are needed by Oct. 11. They can be mailed to Angelina and/or Abigail Newbold, c/o Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, 206 South State Street, Suite A, Decatur, TX 76234. For information, call 940-427-2328. Your donations are tax deductible.
