BULLS CHARGE INTO REGIONALS – Milton Iniguez, Eric Aguilar and Jesus Aguilar scored second-half goals as the Bridgeport Bulls beat Burkburnett 3-0 in the 4A Region I quarterfinal to advance to the region semifinal Friday at Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletic Complex against Dallas Life Oak Cliff. Decatur fell 2-0 to San Elizario in their region quarterfinal.

MARCH RAINFALL – March was one of the driest on record in Wise County, with 1.16 inches of rain recorded for the month. The average for March is 3.53 inches. Temperatures in the month ranged from a high of 92 on March 20 to a low of 26 on March 2.
RELAY FUNDRAISER – Home Health Care Of North Central Texas will hold a garage sale fundraiser for the Wise County Relay for Life 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at the office, located at 401 Center Court Drive in Bridgeport. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

MEMORIAL FUNDRAISER – The Decatur High School Class of 1951 is raising money for a memorial in honor of Coach Cy Young, who recently died. GOLF TOURNEY – The Decatur High School Golf Booster Club Tournament is Saturday at Bridgeport Country Club. Cost is $300 for a three-person team scramble, which includes a meal. Registration is 8:30 a.m., and tee time is 10. All proceeds benefit DHS boys and girls golf teams.
