Two Decatur teenagers were arrested late Wednesday night in connection with a shooting in Alvord in the early morning hours of Aug. 7.

Christopher Lee Bryan, 18, and David Jackson Huggins, 17, have both been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin said the shooting took place at a home in the 300 block of North Wickham Street on Aug. 7. Rhett Barclay, 17, was shot once while Brent Dixon, 41, was shot multiple times. Both survived their injuries.

Akin said the shooting involved a burglary tied with drug activity and drug trafficking.

He said his office is also pursuing charges against a 16-year-old as well.
