Corbyn Cornell connected with Tanner Richey for a 48-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough for the Alvord Bulldogs against Electra Saturday.

Electra held on for the 17-7 victory in a game resumed Saturday after a power outage stopped play Friday at halftime.
The Cornell-Richey connection was the first score of the season for Alvord.
Electra scored all 17 of its points in the first half Friday. Andrew Delizio hit Javon Jones with a 30-yard pass in the first quarter. Delizio added a 53-yard run in the second after a Noah Caldwell 25-yard field goal.
Alvord dropped to 0-4 on the season.
