The Argyle Eagles stayed in a tie atop of 9-4A with Decatur with a 77-40 win over Bridgeport Friday.

The loss means Bridgeport (13-18, 5-4) will be the district’s third seed in the playoffs. The Bulls will face 10-4A runner-up Dallas Carter in the bi-district round of the 4A Region II playoffs next week.

Justin Meyers led the Bulls with 20 points.

Argyle jumped on Bridgeport 24-10 in the first quarter and led 43-18 at halftime.

Argyle closed out district play against Krum Tuesday. Bridgeport met Gainesville.
