Brad Young turned in six solid innings on the mound and went 2-for-3 at the plate with a RBI as the Paradise Panthers picked up a second straight league win Monday.

Paradise (9-8-1) took down Henrietta 8-4 to move to 3-2 in District 8-3A.

Young held Henrietta to three runs – none earned – on three hits in six innings with six strikeouts and three walks. Brysen Meyers earned the save allowing a run on one hit in an inning of work.

Paradise scored two batters into the bottom of the first with Patrick Dorado singling and coming home on a Henrietta error after Will Reeves’ bunt.

Young started a four-run rally in the third with a run-scoring double. Paradise led 6-0 after three innings.

Mitchell Sellers drove in two runs, going 2-for-4.

Paradise will go to Jacksboro Friday looking to continue its streak.
