Love’s Travel Stops’ (Love’s) newest location opened Thursday in Bridgeport. The new 24/7 travel stop, located at 2300 U.S. 380, is expected to add approximately 50 jobs to Wise County.

“With its location on U.S. 380 and its proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Bridgeport is an ideal location to serve many types of customers, including residents, professional drivers and travelers,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s. “As always, customers can expect the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for.”

The facility offers gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, name-brand snacks, an Arby’s restaurant and a game room. Professional drivers can take advantage of 51 truck parking spaces, diesel-fuel pumps, showers and laundry facilities.

In celebration of the new store, Love’s will hold a ribbon cutting in conjunction with the Wise County Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 18. During the ceremony, Love’s will present a $2,000 donation to the city of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department.

The opening of the Bridgeport store marks Love’s 65th travel stop in Texas. Nationwide, Love’s has more than 440 stores in 41 states.
