Mark Hancock, 66, of Decatur, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in Denton.

Funeral was Nov. 14 at the First United Methodist Church of Rosston with the Revs. Larry Kruger and Doyle Henderson officiating. Burial followed at Rosston Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Hancock, Scott Hancock, Richard Rimpau, Jacob Rimpau, Steve Hall and Jim Fortenberry.

Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur handled arrangements.

Mark was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Dallas to Kenneth and Ann (Fortenberry) Hancock. He married Carol Jean Willis July 19, 1996, in The Colony. Mark retired as a funeral director from Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rosston.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his wife.

He is survived by his mother; brother Phil Hancock and wife, Bonnie, of Decatur; sister Jo Ann Rimpau and husband, Jim, of Decatur; four nephews; and friends.
