Eula Mae Cook, 93, of Bridgeport, died Sunday Nov. 5, 2017, in Bridgeport.

Funeral was 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with Dr. Craig Erb officiating. Burial will follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Deborah Anderson, David Anderson and Daniel Anderson.

Eula Mae was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Jacksboro to Andrew and Gladys (Briscoe) Reeves. She married Clarence Cook May 29, 1943, in Jacksboro. Eula Mae worked as a surgical technician for Bridgeport Hospital for 30 years until her retirement. She was a past president of Certified Surgical Technologist of Greater Fort Worth No. 32 in 1994 and 1985, past president of Senior Citizens Site Committee on Aging; past board member of Wise County Committee on Alcohol and Drug Abuse; and a past member of Happy Times Ukulele Band. Eula Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters Lillie Christell and Pauline; and brother Linford Reeves.

She is survived by her son, Danny Cook and wife, Ada, of Decatur; daughter Norma Jean Anderson of Bridgeport; grandchildren David, Daniel and Debra Anderson; great-grandchildren Rachel, Gracie, Molly and Christopher; and other family members and friends.
