Billy O’brien Fowler

Billy O’brien Fowler, 75, of Decatur, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, in McKinney.

Burial will be in Lubbock.

Billy was born April 6, 1942, in Littlefield to Andrew Ivan and John Evelyn Garlington Fowler. He graduated from Texas Tech University in arts/advertising. He was a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the U.S. Navy.

Billy was a member of the National Horse Riding Association and Albert Sidney Johnston Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was also a reenactor with Terry’s Texas Rangers.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents.

He’s survived by his wife, Dorothy Fowler of Decatur; daughter Rachel Wicks and husband, Don, of Allen; and grandchildren Devon and Allison Wicks of Allen.
