The Bridgeport long-term care facility, formerly known as Senior Care Health and Rehabilitation, is now called Bridgeport Medical Lodge.

The facility will have a ribbon cutting and come-and-go reception 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, to commemorate the change.

Priority Management Group of Shreveport, La., purchased the Bridgeport properties, including Senior Care Health and Rehab, Stagecoach Rehab, and The Residences at Senior Care, an assisted living facility, in December from Foursquare Healthcare. Foursquare had operated the buildings since 2009.

Stagecoach Rehab’s name will remain the same, although both facilities have new logo designs.

“This name change is both reflective of our new ownership and of the way long-term facilities are evolving,” said administrator Keith Boatler. “This is merely part of the seamless transition we have been making since our new owners took over in December 2017, and our patients, residents and providers will experience no disruptions in care or service.”
