The Bridgeport Sissies made quick work of Diamond Hill-Jarvis Tuesday night in their non-district finale.

Led by eight kills from Morgen Davidson, the Sissies swept Diamond Hill 25-19, 25-12, 25-23.

Bridgeport improved to 14-11. Bridgeport coach Jennifer Ragland said the team needs to be prepared for the District 9-4A race.

“We had a slow game but managed to come up with the win,” Ragland said. “Our hitting was off a little, so the girls had to play smart and put the ball in open spots. It is time to buckle down and get ready for district.”

Abbi Hatton finished with seven kills and Kristen Grooms six. Courtney Cline and Azia Grisham had four kills apiece.

Katie Hudson handed out 16 assists and Jacquelyn Bailey 11.

Hatton served three aces.

Beka Powers made eight digs. Hudson and Bailey had six digs each.
