The Argyle Lady Eagles clinched the District 9-4A title Friday with a sweep of the Bridgeport Sissies.

Argyle won 25-6, 25-5, 25-14.

Bridgeport (14-20, 0-9) struggled to find offense against the Lady Eagles, who are unbeaten in district.

“We just couldn’t get in a good flow,” said Bridgeport coach Jennifer Ragland. “Argyle served the ball well and we struggled handling the pass.

“We are hoping to regroup and put together a win to end the season. These girls have worked so hard this year.”

Bridgeport ended the regular season at Gainesville Tuesday.

Against Argyle, Courtney Cline finished with four kills. Abbi Hatton added three.

Jacquelyn Bailey and Cheyanne Weirich handed out three assists each.

Hatton made seven digs. Jilian Hagar had six.
