Soccer: Bulls blank Springtown 4-0

The Bridgeport Bulls scored the first of its four first-half goals five minutes into the game Friday on the way to the 4-0 victory over Springtown.

The opening goal came on a Springtown own goal after a dangerous cross from Miguel Olmos.

Juan Amador made it 2-0 finishing a cross from Rogelio Galicia.

Justin Rexha closed the half with a pair of goals.

Luis Cruz made three saves in goal, netting the shutout.

BURKBURNETT 4, DECATUR 0

The Decatur Eagles dropped their second consecutive game, falling 4-0 to Burkburnett Tuesday.

GIRLS

BRIDGEPORT 1, SPRINGTOWN 0

The Bridgeport Sissies picked up their first win in District 3-4A Friday night.

Leilani Stone found the back of the goal off a direct kick in the 15th minute and Natalie Smith shut out Springtown in the 1-0 victory.

Smith made two saves.

DECATUR 0, BURKBURNETT 0

The Decatur Lady Eagles fought to a scoreless draw Tuesday with Burkburnett.

GUYER 2, NORTHWEST 0

The Denton Guyer Lady Wildcats scored a 2-0 win over Northwest Friday.
