The Decatur Lady Eagles reached the championship game of the Jacksboro Tournament but couldn’t find enough offense to bring home the title Saturday.

The Lady Eagles managed only three field goals in a 42-16 loss in the finals against Jacksboro.

Decatur was outscored 26-8 in the second half. Hannah Dunning scored 11 for the Lady Eagles.

Decatur won its first three games at the tournament.

Dunning finished with 14 in the 55-20 win over South Hills in the opener. Decatur built a 27-7 halftime lead.

Decatur took down Graham 39-30 with 12 points from Shaylee Smith and 11 from Hannah Dunning.

Smith scored 16 and hit 10 of her 14 free throws in the Lady Eagles’ 40-33 win over Archer City in the semifinals.

Decatur returned to action Tuesday at Graham. The Lady Eagles go to Lake Country Friday.
