Eaton Eagles Take Flight 1

Students make a special presentation to the Eaton family at the dedication of Northwest’s V.R. Eaton High School Monday night. V.R. Eaton, the father of Messenger Publisher Roy Eaton, served as a member of the first Northwest ISD School Board and is remembered for his contributions and assistance in consolidating the district. He was an early supporter of Northwest High School’s vocational agriculture program, and to honor his efforts, students made the above emblem and sign that will hang on the gates of the school’s agriculture center.
