Daniel Jordan, a landscape architecture and landscape management double major from Paradise, has been selected as an Oklahoma State University Senior of Significance for the 2015-2016 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association.

The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.

Jordan is the son of Jim and Sheila Jordan. During his time at OSU, Jordan served as a CASNR Ambassador and an AG 1011 student academic mentor for four years. He was elected as an American Society of Landscape Architecture chapter officer where he was the committee chair for organizing the Finding Center sustainability conference. He worked on a design team that won the student design award for Low Impact Development at the Green Country Sustainability Forum.

“The OSU Alumni Association is proud to recognize these seniors for the achievements they’ve made during their undergraduate careers at OSU,” said Chris Batchelder, Alumni Association president and CEO. “We look forward to seeing them excel as part of the OSU alumni family after they graduate.”

A public reception to recognize Jordan and the other 48 Seniors of Significance was Nov. 23 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater, Okla.
