Jimmie Charles Dunlap

Jimmie Charles Dunlap, 79, of Jacksboro died Thursday, July 30, 2015, in Jacksboro.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Jimmie was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Fort Worth to Soloman and Alta Mae (Lawrence) Dunlap. He was a welder for the oil pipeline, and he loved riding cutting horses. Most importantly, he was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Alta Mae Boring and her husband, Amos; brothers Billy and Benny Bridges; and sister Peggy Arwine.

He is survived by his children, Misti Stull and husband, Bert, of Frisco, Tammy Alvis and husband, Dwayne, of Springtown, Donna Boucher and husband, David, of Stephenville, Russell Dunlap and wife, Lisa, of Jacksboro and Penny Shockey and husband, Ronnie, of Rhome,; sisters Pat Conn of Azle and Emilie Tackel of Paradise; brother Dale Bridges of Poteau, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
