Wise County 4-H will host a Horsemanship Camp June 26-27 for youth and adults. It’s open to 4-H members, parents and volunteer leaders, but space is limited.

The clinic is provided by the Texas A&M horse program assistants, and skills covered during the two-day school include basic and advanced horsemanship drills and maneuvers.

The camp, at 1197 Greenwood Road outside Decatur, will start promptly at 8 a.m. and will end at 5p.m. daily. The camp will be held on Greenwood Road in Decatur.

Cost is $65 and includes lunch and snacks each day. There are no overnight stalls available for horses.

To sign up for the horsemanship clinic or 4-H, call the Extension office at 940-627-3341 by June 12.
