ALVORD PHARMACY ROBBED AT GUNPOINT – A Cottondale man is in Wise County Jail after robbing S&J Pharmacy in Alvord yesterday. Sheriff David Walker said Tyler Chapman, 20, was arrested for aggravated robbery and possession of marijuana. About 3 p.m. Tuesday Chapman entered the pharmacy wearing a hoodie and instructed the pharmacy staff to give him money. He raised his shirt, showing the staff a handgun. The pharmacist instructed staff to get out of the building, and they left through a back entrance. At the same time the suspect left through the front of the building. A witness saw him leave the property and go to a house in Alvord where he was later arrested. Walker said the incident is still under investigation, and more information will be posted as it’s available.
