A water line that ruptured and was repaired Thursday in the city of Bridgeport blew again Friday afternoon, leaving citizens without water.

Community Relations Manager Amber Fogelman said the leak was reported around 4:30 p.m. and was expected to take “several hours” to fix.

Bottled water is available at the police department.
