2 INJURED IN ROLLOVER – Two people were injured in a car wreck on Farm Road 2264 near Decatur yesterday when the driver lost control of the car and flipped the vehicle into a ditch on the side of the road. Timothy Paul Dennis, 19, and Justice Marie Sampson, 18, were traveling east on FM 2264 when Dennis, the driver, swerved to the right to avoid a rock in the road. He then overcorrected and pulled the car to the left, causing it to flip and roll off the side of the road into a ditch around 1:30 p.m. Dennis suffered neck injuries, and Sampson suffered back and spinal injuries. Both were transported to Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. State trooper Patrick Alonzo said that speed may have been a factor, but that the overcorrection was the main cause of the wreck.
