DECATUR WRECK – No one was injured, but salsa was spilled in a two-vehicle accident in front of Casa Torres about 7:45 p.m. Saturday night. A Chevrolet pickup, driven by Eric Gage, 19, of Decatur, pulled onto Farm Road 51 South from a parking lot just south of Casa Torres. According to Decatur Police officer Royce Gastineau, Gage was attempting to turn left and travel northbound when his vehicle was hit by a southbound Toyota Camry driven by Charles Knupp, 24, of Decatur. Knupp and his passenger had just pulled out from the Casa Torres parking lot. No one was injured in the accident, but Knupp’s to-go order spilled across the inside of his car. His dash was covered in salsa. The southbound lanes of 51 were shut down for about 45 minutes. Decatur Fire Department was also on scene.
