AISD PROMOTES HART TO AD – Defensive coordinator Pete Hart is taking over as the Alvord head football coach and athletic director. Alvord ISD trustees extended Hart a two-year contract Thursday to take over the roles after a two-hour executive session. Alvord picked Hart after interviewing 12 candidates out of 35 applicants. Hart takes over for Curtis Enis, who resigned as the head football coach in June to take the girls basketball job at Burleson. Enis was at Alvord three years. Hart has spent the past two seasons at Alvord as the defensive coordinator. Before coming to Alvord, Hart spent two years at Bridgeport, where he also coached from 1986 to 2002.
