Slidell 79, Prairie Valley 28

Behind a monster game from Isaac Davis, the Slidell Greyhounds stayed in the thick of the District 21-A Division II race with a dismantling of Prairie Valley Friday.

Davis piled up 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the Greyhounds’ 79-28 win.

The Greyhounds (18-6) moved to 3-1 in the league and are tied for second with Henrietta Midway. Bellevue leads the league at 5-0.

Slidell jumped out to a 24-5 lead on Prairie Valley and never slowed. The Greyhounds built the lead to 45-14 at halftime and took a 65-20 advantage into the fourth quarter.

Tyler Maynard finished with 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Mason Maynard added seven points and grabbed eight boards.
