Panthers take 5th at Nocona; Melton shoots 81 for third

The Paradise Panthers golf team finished fifth Monday, shooting a 391 at the Norman Waters Invitational at Indian Oaks Golf Course in Nocona.

Nocona won the tournament with a 337. Holliday finished second with a 363.

Bradley Young led Paradise with a 91. Ryan Norwood shot a 95, and Tanner Edwards 98. Erby Higgins hit 107, and Drew Carter 111.

Chico finished sixth with a 394. Tyler Melton, who finished third overall, carded an 81. Marshall Anderle turned in a 101, Jeremy Blanks 105, Crese Redman 107, and Tyler Sparks 111. Playing as an individual, Chico’s Devon Wilson shot 116.
