Lady Texans fall to Central

After beating one of District 4-5A’s unbeaten teams Richland, the Northwest Lady Texans (12-10, 4-3) slipped up against Keller Central Tuesday.

Central scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to rally to a 5-4 victory.

Northwest committed four errors in the loss.

Bailey Bryson and Haley Rhine each doubled for the Lady Texans. Bryson drove in a run, going 2-for-3.

Catherine Totty took the loss, allowing five runs – two earned – on seven hits in four innings. She struck out three.

Emily Worley pitched two scoreless innings in relief.
