The Texans retained a thin lead for three quarters, but the tide turned in the fourth when Keller put up 20 points – including 12 from the free throw line.
The Indians shot 72 percent from the line while Northwest was able to make 63 percent of their free throws.
Northwest got off to a rough start in the game but quickly came together to take the lead after eight minutes. In the second period, the Indians began to match the Texans’ offense, pulling even before Northwest rebuilt a 23-19 halftime lead.
Both teams stayed consistent through the third, but as the pace quickened in the fourth, Northwest ended up committing too many fouls, and Keller capitalized, making 12 of 17 free throws down the stretch.
