The Slidell Greyhounds opened with a 30-4 run and never slowed down in an 87-29 victory over Prairie Valley.
Slidell (23-7, 8-2) led 56-13 at halftime and 73-20 going into the fourth quarter.
“I thought that we executed on both ends of the floor and rebounded the ball very well,” said Slidell coach Todd McCormick.
Heyden Craned posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. He was one of four Greyhounds in double figures. Tyler Maynard poured in 24 points with five rebounds, six assists and a steal. Isaac Davis had 14 points, seven boards, nine assists and four steals. Colton Perkins finished with 15 points, five rebounds and three steals.
