Hope thieves find another livelihood

I would like to acknowledge all the people who have been so helpful to me for the last 25 to 30 years, if not longer – especially at the house that was on the corner of 511 Proctor and Pecan in Alvord, which was used as a storage house for 25 to 30 years.

You have gone in and taken thousands of dollars worth of our things, and that’s not counting in the ’80s when I lived on 611 Denver St. When I moved from there up on Proctor Street, you continued to help yourself. I thought when we got the old house on Pecan and tore the Proctor house down, it all would stop.

What a foolish thought. You kept coming.

But just a few weeks ago, one night when you tore off the boards around the skirting on the trailer on that property, with an elderly lady inside – not that it would have mattered to you – you went to an all-time low.

Yes, you put another hardship on me, but that’s OK. I’ve replaced and repaired all the damages you’ve done to me over the years, and I’ll do it again with the Lord’s help. I can and will overcome it again. I’ve always had and still have His help.

To you people who took all the things from the storage house, you know who you are. There are two people on this earth that no one can lie to, and that’s themselves and God, because they know and God knows.

May God bless you and help you find a better way of life because it sure does hurt to be on this end. May you never have to go through it.

I am so sorry for what you have lost, but remember it is only material things. You grace and forgiveness means a whole lot more. I would, however, put up cameras around the home or where you are experiencing break-ins. The police need only a picture to find the crooks. Also, you might ask for a drive by – by the police and maybe that would be another alternative for you. May God richly bless you.
