Grand jury indicts 2 for vehicle thefts

Two Fort Worth men have been indicted for stealing a vehicle transport truck loaded with seven Ford trucks from a Rhome truck stop Oct. 30.

Sergio Guerra Morales, 25, and Jesus Montez, 26, were indicted last month for theft of property greater than $200,000, a first-degree felony.

According to Rhome police officer Brody Brown, the driver of the transport truck had stopped to fill up with gas at Love’s in Rhome and had gone inside to pay. When he came back outside, his truck was gone.

Officers were able to track down the truck in North Richland Hills using GPS within a matter of hours.

Morales and Montez were arrested at the scene and remain in the Wise County Jail with bail set at $100,000 each.

The grand jury met Dec. 19 and returned the following felony indictments:

Carlos Hervey Delapena, evading arrest/detention with vehicle

Estelle Flores, theft of property $1,500-$20,000

Donald Gregory Fourqurean, evading arrest/detention with vehicle

Stephanie Ann Fox, exploitation of disabled; tamper with government record with intent to defraud/harm; theft of property $1,500-$20,000

Miguel Angel Garcia, fraudulent use/possession of identifying information less than five items

Jeffrey Barrett Gould, driving while intoxicated third or more

Edward Charles Johnson, theft of material aluminum/bronze/copper/brass less than $20,000

Carin Lynn Ranta, credit card or debit card abuse (five counts)

Laura Strickland Rosser, driving while intoxicated with child under 15

Carthel Lester Skinner, driving while intoxicated third or more

Michael Jeffery Tucker, burglary of a building

Michael Jeffery Tucker, unauthorized use of a vehicle

Ashley Perkins Hilton, possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram

Traci Ilene Schneider, fraudulent delivery of a controlled substance prescription schedule III/IV/V

John Ryan Kallas, burglary habitation with intent to commit other felony; aggravated kidnapping

Colton Skott Walker, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
