The Runaway Bay City Council is about to begin researching its power options.

As a part of the short agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, the council will consider authorizing Mayor Robert Ryan and City Administrator Oneta Berghoefer to negotiate and contract for electric service.

In closed session, they will evaluate the code enforcement officer, Jannie Tucknies, then act in open session.

The council will also consider March meeting minutes, financials, accounts payable, activity reports, journal entries and the code enforcement report.

The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held at City Hall, 101 Runaway Bay Drive. It is open to the public.
