The Decatur Country Club was broken into Monday night.

Decatur Police Chief Rex Hoskins said golf clubs, bags and money – collectively worth close to $5,000 – were stolen.

Hoskins said it appeared the thief entered the building through a broken window. There are no suspects at this time, but it is under investigation.

Anyone with information should call the Decatur Police Department at 940-627-1500.

These occurred in Lipsey Addition and Thousand Oaks. Chief Hoskins is asking residents to call the police department at 940-627-1500 if they see anyone walking in neighborhoods late at night.

He’s also encouraging people to remove items from their vehicles or make sure things are stored out of sight.
