SPORTS SIGN-UPS – Boyd Youth Association is having t-ball, baseball and softball sign-ups now through Feb. 15. Sign-ups are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursday at the Boyd Intermediate School gym. For information, call Randy Medlock at 817-727-2713.


CHAMBER BANQUET – The Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce Casino Royale annual banquet is 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Decatur Civic Center. There will be food, awards, casino games, live and silent auctions, live entertainment and a raffle, including the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas or $1,000 cash. Dress is cocktail attire. 4-H MEETING – The Bridgeport 4-H Club will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Bridgeport Community Center.

MOBILE HEALTH UNIT – Texas Health Wellness for Life will station a mobile health unit 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at 1009 Halsell St. in Bridgeport. Well-woman exams, mammograms and colon cancer screenings will be available. Services are free for those who meet certain criteria. Insurance will also be accepted. YOUTH BASEBALL – Registration forms for youth baseball are available at Chico Elementary and Chico Middle School. Forms and payment are due by Friday, Feb. 21. Cost is $50 for t-ball and $85 for baseball. For information, call Brian Durham at 940-393-3565. The league also needs umpires. Call Durham if interested.


RODEO TICKETS – Decatur Night at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is Saturday, Feb. 8. Tickets cost $25 and are available at the Decatur Chamber of Commerce. Payment must be by cash or check. For information, call Misty Hudson at 940-627-3107.

HEART HEALTH – Wise Regional Health System is hosting the Heart Health Expo 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Decatur Civic Center. Admission is free. There will be various booths, as well as a panel discussion featuring local cardiac care providers. A light lunch will be served noon to 1 p.m.

SOFTBALL SIGNUPS – Decatur Girls Softball will hold its signups 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at City Hall. Forms are available at all Decatur campuses. For information, call Carley Jones at 940-577-0138.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC – The Texas Department of State Health Services will hold an immunization clinic Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Decatur. Shots will be administered in the Educational Building at 1200 W. Preskitt Rd. for $10 per child or $20 per family. A parent must be present and should bring the child’s immunization record. RANCH GATHERING – The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) will host a Ranch Gathering 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the NRS Training Center, 309 CR 4228, in Decatur. Horse management educational seminars are included and a free beef dinner will be served, sponsored by National Roper’s Supply and Novartis Animal Health.
