Chelsea Denee Hughes and Micheal Angel Garcia of San Antonio were married May 17, 2014, at the home of the bride’s parents, Bobby and KaSondra Hughes of Decatur.
The groom is the son of Mickey and Lisa Garcia of Victoria.
Dr. Bill Hughes, grandfather of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white chiffon gown by Maggie Soterro that featured beadwork on the front and down the back.
She carried a bouquet of white roses wrapped with lace from her mother’s wedding dress.
Matron of honor was Courtney Lue, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alyx Yaro, Kristen Montgomery and Rylee Garcia.
They wore varying styles of one-shouldered, light turquoise, knee-length dresses and carried bouquets of white roses wrapped with light turquoise satin ribbon.
Flower girl was Henzley Lewis, daughter of Selena Perez and Wesley Lewis.
Best man was Jake Garcia, and groomsmen were Wesley Lewis, Blake Lewis and Erick Serafin.
Guestbook attendant was Addison Smith.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents.
Following a week-long trip to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, the couple live in San Antonio.
The bride graduated from Decatur High School, while the groom graduated from Bridgeport High School.
