Megan and Joseph Weyand of Boyd announce the birth of a son, Ryder Cole, on Dec. 25, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur.

He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

He has two sisters: Maddison, 4, and Trinity, 3.

Grandparents are Glenda Lawrence, Judie Weyand-Hines and Sidney Hines.
