Andrew Wendt and Caitlin McKinney of Bridgeport announce the birth of a daughter, Emersyn Patrice, on Jan. 23, 2014, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur.

She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents include Patricia and David Carter of Sedalia, Mo.; Michael and Ligia McKinney of Columbia, Mo.; and Mike and Patti Rhine and Adam and Sarah Wendt, all of Decatur.

Great-grandparents are Joanne McKinney of Marshall, Mo., Germaine Auxier of Sedalia, and Suzie and Norman Pearce and Bill and Beverly Wendt, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
