North Central Texas College (NCTC) recently recognized students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2013 fall semester.

Wise County students named to the NCTC President’s Honor List include Bettina Cooke of Bridgeport; Angela Price of Chico; Gina Carr, James Dehart, Christen Epting and William C. White, all of Decatur; and Richard Lee Moore of Rhome. These students achieved a 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) while enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours.

Wise County students who were named to the Dean’s List include Dawn Northcutt, Maurisio Perez and Kane Rice, all of Alvord; Cassidy Hardin of Boyd, Pamela Hampton of Chico, Tracy Michelle Lee, Kara Elizabeth Perez and Kimberly Ann Strano, all of Decatur; and Kylie Crutsinger of Paradise. Students on the Dean’s List earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.99 while taking 12 or more hours.

“We’re very proud to honor our students in this way,” said Dr. Larry Gilbert, arts and sciences dean. “Performing at this high level in all courses is not easy, particularly for the large number of our students who work either full-time or part-time while attending classes.”
