Reba Joyce Whitehead, 76, of Decatur passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 at Grace Baptist Church in Decatur, officiated by Dr. Van Gardner, Jeff Honeycutt, and Kenneth (Doc) Dennis. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Pallbearers are Stanley Kemp, Jeremy Davis, Justin Whitehead, Shawn Lucas, Joe Hubbard and Darrell Moyers.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Reba was born in Cullman, Ala. to Tony and Ruth (Pope) Bisidas. She worked in the healthcare industry as a caregiver. She loved to cook and spend time with the grandkids and other family. She also enjoyed gambling, camping and going to garage sales.
She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, John C. Whitehead; sons Tim and Scotty Whitehead; daughter Cindy Whitehead; mother Ruth Bisidas; brother Larry Bisidas; sister Bonnie Kemp; seven grandchildren: Kim, Kevin, Justin, Barry, Brittany, Shawn and Sierra; and five great-grandchildren: Tyler, Liam, Parker, Aiden, Christian and Faith.
Reba was preceded in death by her father; brother Eddie Bisidas; sister Shelba Roberts, and great-grandchild Xander.
