Peggy Kenyon, 71, of Paradise, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at her home.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Peggy was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Olney, Okla., to James and Mary (Sullivan) Humes. She married Bobby Lee Kenyon Sept. 23, 1958, in Pampa, and they were married for 56 years.
She was a retired municipal judge for Bridgeport, a member of the board of directors of the Municipal Courts Association and a member of the United Methodist Church of Bridgeport. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and riding horses.
She leaves behind her husband, Bobby; daughters Christina Arquette and husband, Aaron, and Debra Underwood and husband, Bryant; brother Ed Humes; sisters Sue Wood, Dorothy Greene and Fern Ward; grandchildren Ashley Kelley, Christopher Patterson, Alexander Arquette, Katherine Underwood, Daniel Underwood, Joseph Arquette and Anna Arquette; and great-grandson Liam Arquette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Humes of Stonewall, Okla.; son Bobby Lee Kenyon Jr. of Bridgeport; sister Gwen Duke of California; and grandson Brian Underwood of Bridgeport.
