Mary Frances “Nanny” Musgrove, 73, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in Bellevue.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Freedom Life Church in Bowie with Scott Wesley officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery under the direction of White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Mary was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Dallas to J.D. Sr. and Mary Ann (Hale) Clark. She graduated from Bethania Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 and worked for Bowie Memorial Hospital for many years. She also worked for IntegraCare Home Health before retiring in 2002.
She married Ralph Musgrove May 30, 1985, in Buffalo Springs. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and ranching and was well-known for helping and caring for others. Mary will be remembered with love and appreciation for her devoted years of life as a wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Jeff, Rick and Charles Raley; brother J.D. Clark Jr.; sister Jo Ann Elrod; grandchildren Aaron and Daisy Raley; father-in-law Gerald Musgrove; and niece Tiffany Blessingame.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ralph Musgrove of Bellevue; children Jerri Raley of Bellevue, Misti Orton and husband, Billy, of Vashti, Joni Raley of Buffalo Springs, Leah North and husband, Ronny, of Erick, Okla., and Alvis Pryor and wife, Kristi, of Bowie; daughter-in-law Peggy Raley of Bellevue; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers Yale Clark and wife, Linda, of Lake Tawakoni, Bennie Clark of Bowie and Charles Clark of Huntsville; and sisters Cynthia Betts and husband, Donald, of Bowie and Darlene Raley and husband, Ronnie, of Bowie.
