June Langley Huff, 97, of Keller, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.
Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery.
June was born June 4, 1916, in Grapevine to Marvin and Eula Mae Haire Langley. She was the last remaining family member of Grapevine’s pioneer Langley family and the last charter member of the Riverside Advent Christian Church.
She loved her family and friends, loved to sew, cook, read, quilt, tat lace and most of all, loved her crossword puzzles.
June was the director of finance for Haltom City for more than 30 years and received special recognition for her students in the VOE class. She volunteered her time to the Meals on Wheels program.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, E.S. Huff; brother Edward Langley; sister Claudia Rodgers; granddaughter Donna Marie Huff; and son-in-law Wilburn Clowers.
June is survived by daughters Joyce Clowers of Haltom City and Martha Argo and husband, Benny, of Jack County; son Jerry Huff and wife, Martha, of Chico; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
