James Earl Green, 39, of Grand Prairie, formerly of Bridgeport, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, in El Paso.
Funeral is 3 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with Bro. Glenn Connell officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the funeral home.
James was born Dec. 4, 1974, in Decatur to Earl and Pansy Green. He married Valerie Stump May 3, 2008, in Aurora. He was a crane operator and absolutely loved running a crane. He also loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed listening to Texas country music. More than anything, James loved his family. He was a devoted Christian and actively preached his faith to others.
James is survived by his wife, Valerie Green of Grand Prairie; daughters Tierany Buster of Boyd, Ashlynn Stack of Euless and Jacie Green of Chico; his parents, Earl and Pansy Green of Bridgeport; his brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and April Green of Haslet; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
