Gloria Jean Hughes Hall

Gloria Jean Hughes Hall, 82, of Saint Jo, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Bible Baptist Church in Bowie with Pastor Steve Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pallbearers are William Kent, Tommy Hughes, Kevin McGee and Wallace Bowman.

Gloria was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Washington, Pa., to Flannagen and Ethyle (Fordyce) Davis. She married James Hall Jan. 15, 2014, in Montague. Gloria was a caregiver who enjoyed embroidery and gardening. She loved animals, especially her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Junia Lee.

Survivors include her husband, James Hall of Bowie; daughters Tina Smith of Nashville, Tenn., Kristi Bohart of Atlanta, Ga., and Amy Rice of Beaumont; sons James Hall Jr. of Bowie and David Wayne Hughes of Amarillo; sister Celia Reynolds of Washington, Pa.; brother Clarence Davis of Washington, Pa.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
