Gail Gray Pugh, 68, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Denton.
Services will be Saturday, June 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Ringgold Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Derek Gray, Jacob McDaniel, Chuck Scafella and Ronnie Taylor.
Gail was born Sept. 29, 1945 in Decatur to Henry L. and Neva M. (Allen) Walker. Gail owned and operated Gail’s Caf in Bridgeport for 20 years, finally closing its doors in 2011.
She was a member of Balsora Baptist Church, and loved listening to music, playing computer games, going to the casino and reading her Bible.
She is survived by her friend Doyle Hall; son Tony and Stacie Gray; daughters Pam McDaniel and Ronnie Taylor, and Jennifer and Randall Thomas; mother Maurice Walker; brother Leon and Kay Walker; sisters Charlsa and Lyndon Smith; Pat Phipps, Kathy and John Kintz, Marilyn Carver, and Penny and John Horton; grandchildren Tasha and Bennett Gregg, Derek and Emily Gray, Taylor McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Bailey Gray, Brooklyn Scarborough and Perry Hicks; great-grandchildren Mia, Mason and Max Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Pugh, and father, H.L. Walker.
