Delois Ann Ivy, 77, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, in her hometown of Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial followin at Sweetwater Cemetery. The Rev. Ken May of the First Baptist Church in Decatur will officiate.
Pallbearers are Rick Ivy, Richard Garrison, Brandt Wicker, Ashley Brown, Mike Johnson and Chuck Holloway.
Visitation is 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Delois was born May 6, 1936, in Decatur to Ira and Floe (Walker) Goodger. She married Richard Ivy Oct. 5, 1955, in Weatherford. She worked for Dr. Ben Merritt and at the Wise County Medical Center for more than 50 years. Delois was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Ivy of Decatur; daughters Sherry Ivy of Fort Worth and DeLona Garrison and husband, Richard, of Decatur; son Rick Ivy and wife, Shelby, of Ponder; granddaughters Curren Wicker and husband, Brandt, of Decatur, Ryan Brown and husband, Ashley, of Decatur, and Whitney Brown of McHenry, Ill.; great-grandchildren Cami, Carson, Caylen, Kynlie, Kampbell and Kortlen; and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
