David C. White, of Ajijic, Mexico, died Sunday, April 6, 2014. He was 73.
He was born March 29, 1941, in Decatur and attended Decatur High School before earning a degree in political science from North Texas State University (now UNT) and a law degree from the University of Houston.
David worked as a lawyer in Denton and Decatur for 17 years. He was a state district judge in Denton County for 12 years.
He married Blanca in 2004, and they have lived in Ajijic, Mexico, for the past 10 years. David was very witty and enjoyed playfully interacting with people from all walks of life. He will be greatly missed.
David is survived by his wife, Blanca; children Andrea, Nathan and David Andrew; stepchildren Patty and Julio; and grandchildren Haden, Owen, Chase, Erik, Jacob, Isaac and Eleanor.
Visitation and a celebration service were April 8 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.
