Billy Garrison, 85, a car salesman, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Ken May officiating. Burial is under the direction of Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Billy was born March 16, 1929, in Decatur to Jessie and Mary (Brown) Garrison. He married Barbara Ann Stem July 1, 1946, in Decatur and retired after more than 20 years as a car salesman.
Billy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. He enjoyed racing quarter horses after his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara Ann Stem.
Survivors include his son, Richard Garrison and wife, DeLona, of Decatur; grandchildren Curren Wicker and husband, Brandt, of Decatur and Ryan Brown and husband, Asnley, of Decatur; great-grandchildren Camden, Carson, Caylen, Kampbell, Kortlen and Kynlie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
